Train for Nowhere was composed during an unbelievably hectic time in my life when it seemed that there was no time to just stop and smell the roses! The ongoing motion of the song reflects that continual movement that we experience when life is travelling 'just too fast' and we need to get off for a while! I've always intended to record a vocal version of this song but have never gotten around to it, so the piano takes the vocal line in this recording.
