Student Forums

I will be hosting student forums on Saturday the 3rd September and Saturday 1st October - 2pm - at St Mary’s Anglican Church, 9 Ridge Street South Perth.  Any of my students who wish to play (and I would strongly encourage anyone preparing for exams to do so), please let me know. Parents/families are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Cost is free for participating students - $2 donation to the church for audience members

Gala Concert with Nikolai Demidenko

The UWA School of Music have made a very generous offer to members of the WA Music Teachers’ Association and their students to attend a gala concert with Nikolai Demidenko at Government House Ballroom at a greatly reduced price.

Notice for Cancelling Lessons PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE could everyone please remember how important it is to give me as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel your lesson for any reason. I have a list of casual students waiting for a lesson and it’s a terrible shame if they don’t know about the space in time to be able to use it. It also means that your fees get refunded!!

Parking

Could I please ask/remind parents not to park in my driveway, even for a short time. It is a shared access-way with my next door neighbours, who understandably get very upset when they are unable to get in and out of their home. Given the amount of traffic I have coming in and out, this is happening a lot. Also, if you are driving right down into my front yard, please be aware that I have animals that are unused to traffic and it is disruptive to the lesson when I need to come out and round them up each time someone arrives or leaves. Given that I have had animals run over in my driveway before, this is a real concern for me. Unless you have a physical disability, please park on the street and walk down.
